The seminar attracted more than 100 participants from 27 countries who came to learn about the current status on locomotory disorders in poultry.
Several international experts focused their talks on topics such as:
- Footpad dermatitis
- Slaughterhouse condemnations
- Muscular abnormalities
- Locomotory disorders in chickens and turkeys
During the two days, different problems, their causes and the options for control were discussed, the team making sure that each participant would return home with new knowledge.
Participants were invited to share their experience by presenting case reports, adding extra practical relevance to the seminar. Half a day of the seminar was dedicated to a practical session at the University of Ghent. In this session, participants had the opportunity to see examples of several pathologies and perform footpad dermatitis scoring for themselves.
In addition to the scientific part, Huvepharma® once again showed how important good organization and hospitality is and tried to make it an experience to remember for all of the participants.
